Training is cancelled on 21/10 (Fri)

Training will be cancelled on the 21/10 (Fri) due to venue nonavailability and will resume only on the first week of the school holiday. (Please refer to consent form/ training schedule page for the dates)


A quick summary what have been briefed during today's training.

Firstly,

We have set a direction for all: 
1. To take my badminton training seriously.
2. To put in my best effort in my training.
3. To support and motivate my teammates during my training.

I hope with the direction that we have set, we will never be lost again and we will be able to thrive towards our goal.

Second,

Collective responsibility of taking care of personal belonging.
To take care of not only your own personal belonging, To take care of the personal belonging of your teammates. Having a peace of mind during training so that we all can focus our attention to our training efforts.

Third,

Holiday training sessions.
Consent forms have been issued. Please inform your parents about the dates and if there is any session that you will not be able to make it. please indicate them on the reply slip.

Change in timing for training on 20/10 (Thu)

School will end at 1pm on the 20/10 (Thu).
*Thank you Eiffah for the heads up.

Training will be changed to 1.30pm-3.30pm on 20/10 (Thu) instead of 3pm-5pm.

Post Exam training schedule updated

Post exam training schedule has been updated.

We will be having training on the

20/10 (Thu) - 3pm to 5pm (2 hours) @ ISH
21/10 (Fri) - 1pm to 3pm (2 hours) @ Bball court

Please note that access to ISH through the Bball court only because O'level examination will be going on in the MPH and Noise level should be kept at a minimum near the MPH.

We will not be having training on the last week of school due to school's post exam activities.

For Holiday training,

Please take note that we will be having training on Wed and Thu instead of the usual Thu and Fri during school term.

I will be issuing the consent form and update the blog once everything is confirmed.

Training cancelled due to N' Level written and listening comprehension examination

This week's training, both Thursday and Friday will be cancelled due to N' Level written and listening comprehension examination.

Regarding the cancellation of training, please rest assure that both the teachers and coaches are well aware of the reduction in training hours due to cancellation of training.

For both the teachers and coaches, we will try our best make up the for training hours that are lost due to all the cancellation of training and we will try our best to book suitable venue for training when the MPH is not available.

For players, I would like all of you continue to improve on your endurance and speed on your own by going for long jogs in the park near you and the activities that we do during training. And of course, playing competitive badminton whenever possible,

Please take note also,

CCA stand down will kick in on Term 2 Week 2 for players to focus on your End of Year Examination and will resume on the week of 17th Oct - 21st Oct.

2016 CCA VIA Project and Banner Design Photos












Once again, thank you all of you for your hard work in repainting the court and designing the banner.

We will be looking through the design for our CCA banner and will be selecting one to print out as our official CCA banner.

But the problem is ... ... there is no name written on the submission!

Change in timing and venue for Holiday training

Thank you all for your hard work in our badminton court re-painting project!

The newly painted court will not only benefit us in our training, it also benefit the school in our continuous effort to make our school a better place.

I will be updating the blog with the pictures of all of you doing our VIA project once Ms Quek sends me the photos.

I'm sorry to inform all of you that the MPH will not be available for training due to misunderstanding between the operation side.

Therefore, we will be gathering at the basketball court for training tomorrow at 8am.
The training will last for 2 hours and will end at 10am instead of 12pm, which is stated in your consent form for holiday activities.

Please take note of the time change for tomorrow.

September Holiday Activities & Treat for Cross Country Top 10

I hope you guys enjoyed the video clips from the badminton matches in the Rio Olympics and also manage to get some inspiration by the players, how they carried themselves and how they played.

The haze doesn't look like it is going to come back. So, lets keep our fingers crossed that it will not come back so that we can carry on with our holiday activities.

We will be re-painting the badminton courts in the school MPH on Thursday, 0800-1200, and we will be having training on the newly painted courts on Friday, 0800-1200.


And...


As promised by Mdm Rafilah and me, players who came in Top 10 for their level in the school's cross country will be treated to lunch by us.
