Update to Term 2 week 2's training schedule on 31st March

Training will be cancelled on the 31st of March, Thursday.

Reason: Learning Journey for all Teachers (Yes, just like all students, all teachers have to go for learning journey too...)

Training will resume on the 1st of April, Friday.

There will be a change in timing for Thursday training.

Term 2's timing: 1500 - 1800h

2016 Term 2 training and competition schedule is up and can be accessed from the "page" section.

It has been updated all the way until 22nd April  which is our last training before CCA stands down for Mid-Year Examinations.

Training will resume after the Mid-Year Examinations.

CCA step down and its significance

CCA step down ceremony for graduating students was held on 11//3/2016.

For the graduating students,

CCA step down ceremony marks your official release from the CCA so that you can be more focused on your up coming national exam.

The ceremony also serves to honor you for the years of service and contributions to the CCA.

For the secondary three students,

The ceremony marks the taking over of leadership from the graduating students. 

It is now your turn to set the standard for the CCA and to your juniors.

Whether you want,

A CCA that you are ashamed to let others know of or a CCA that you can be proud to be in.

A CCA that simply meets the expectations or a CCA is constantly exceed expectations.

A CCA that lacks of discipline and organisation or a CCA that is disciplined, focused and clear in achieving what is set out for us to accomplish.

From this year on wards,

I will try to arrange for regular meet up with all of you to hear and discuss about your opinion on CCA leadership and management.

For the secondary one and two students,

The ceremony serves as a reminder to the secondary one and two students that in one or two years time, you will be taking over the CCA. You should already be thinking about the kind of leaders you want to be to your juniors and what you should do in preparation for that day to come.

2016 CCA PHOTO

2016's CCA was taken on 9/3/2016.

Those who are present for the photo shoot would have realised that this photo shoot is organised by the teachers and is no where near a photo shoot by professional photographers but I hope that this will serves as a memorabilia to all the CCA members with the limited resources that have been allocated to the CCA.

Next year, I will try to set the photo taking on a training day when all the members, coaches and teachers will be available for the photo taking.

Holiday training cancelled

Holiday training on the 15/3 (Tue) is cancelled because the MPH will be used for floor ball training.

There will be no training during the March holiday.

Training will resume Term 2 Week 1.

Attire for CCA Photo Taking

Attire: 2016 Badminton Jersey and School PE shorts

 - Florescence Orange for the boys

 - Royal Blue for the girls

If you do not have this years Badminton Jersey, you are to report with your school PE attire.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

No other attire will be allowed for the photo taking.

All to report at the MPH by 2.45pm changed and lined up according to height (1 line for boys, 1 line for girls) for photo taking.

Changes made to holiday training

Holiday training on the 14/3 (Mon) has been cancelled because of the school will be having an emergency exercise on that day.

Holiday training on the 15/3 (Tue) will be for both boys and girls instead of for girls only.

CCA Photo Taking [Rescheduled]

Dear students,

Please take note that the date for our CCA photo taking have been changed to next Wednesday.
Please ignore the previous post on CCA Photo Taking.

We will have our CCA Photo Taking on the 9th of March (Wed).
The photo taking session will start at 2.45pm and finish before 3.15pm.

Attire for the photo taking will be our Badminton CCA T-Shirt.
