This time, we made it to Day 3 of the challenge.

I wasn't able to attend the challenge for most of the days but I have heard some very positive feedback for the players who had participated in this year's challenge.

I hope all of you will continue to train hard during the June holidays because we will be arranging for a friendly match with another school (TBC) soon.

Wee Kim Wee Badminton Challenge 2016 update

I would like to apologise for not issuing the consent forms earlier because I have only received the confirmed fixtures on Wednesday (25/5) and did not have enough time to prepare the consent forms.

This post is to inform parents that the follow students have been selected to represent the school in for this year's Wee Kim Wee Badminton Challenge that will be happening from the 28th of May 201 6 to the 5th of June 2016 at Arena Country Club.

Transport will not be provided and students are to make their own way to the competition venue.

To simply explain how Wee Kim Wee is played.

- Each team will have 2 lives.

- Every team starts off in the winner ladder and will advance to a higher step if the team win. (no lifes is deducted)

- If a team loses in the winner ladder, the team will be moved to the loser ladder permanently. (1 life is deducted)

- Teams in the loser ladder will advance to a higher step in the loser ladder if the team win (no life is deducted)

- If a team loses in the loser ladder, the team will be out of the competition.

Update! Training and Competition Schedule

CCA activities will officially resume on Term 2 Week 9.

Note:

On 19/5 (Thu), training is cancelled because of Principal Challenge.

On 20/5 (Fri), training will official resume.

On 26/5 (Thu), training will be pulled forward to 25/5 (Wed) 3pm to 6pm, after investiture because of Sec 2 PTM.

On 27/5 (Fri), training will be cancelled because of Sec 1 & 3 PTM.

On 28/5 (Sat), will be first day of WKW badminton championship.
